Apple Health: Privacy Settings
Your privacy settings on your device (Apple Health, MapMyFitness, etc.) can be a reason why your activities may not be syncing to FitRankings.
When you initially connect your device to FitRankings, you allowed your device to give data to FitRankings. If you change your privacy settings on your device, this may affect FitRankings ability to sync your activities
In order to make sure Apple Health is syncing with FitRankings, go to Settings on your Apple device, then go to the "Health" app.
After clicking on "Health", click on "Data Access & Devices". This will take you to a "Sources" page where you will see FitRankings. Click on FitRankings and it will take you to the screen seen below. On this page, you can allow Apple Health to transfer your data to FitRankings.
In the event you need to "reset" your FitRankings - Apple Health connection, follow the steps below:
1) In your FitRankings app, please disconnect Apple Health as a connected device / wearable.
2) After you disconnect Apple Health, go to your Apple Health Privacy Settings within FitRankings and tap "Turn Off All" as the arrow shows below.
3) Re-open the FitRankings App and connect your Apple Health device. Afterwards, go back to your Apple Health Privacy Settings and tap "Turn On All" as the arrow shows below.
4) Go back to the FitRankings app and hit the Sync button. The initial Sync may take a while to resolve as we are pulling in fresh data from your Apple Health device. Please be patient with it as we pull your iOS data.
